This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Steve G., Roxanna, & Sky! I’ll be contacting you via e-mail and you’ll have four days to respond. If I don’t hear from you, then I’ll have to choose a new winner. Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to Little Debbie for providing the prizes!
Those of you who watch your feedreaders faithfully, waiting for the thrill of the Don’t Try This at Home update . . . today I reward you! Your waiting has not been in vain, my friends. I come bearing a giveaway.
I have loved Little Debbie snacks since I was a little girl. My favorites back then were the Nutty Bars, Star Crunch, and the Swiss Cake Rolls (which I still crave). A few months ago Little Debbie approached me with the opportunity to try their new 100-calorie snacks and I fell in love again. Hello? You mean you just give me a smaller portion but keep the flavor? I’ll take a full flavor, smaller-sized snack over a cardboard snack any day! Then, a few weeks ago, I received another box from Little Debbie, this time filled with five boxes of individually-wrapped muffins. Oh sweet snacks of love! I’m here to tell you I love me some muffins. And Chili, Jr.? Unabashedly devoted to muffins. And Max? He’s macho about it, but yessirree, he loves the muffins too.
So we’ve tried them all: blueberry, cranberry & orange, chocolate chip, double chocolate, and lemon. My favorite is the cranberry & orange; it’s great for a quick breakfast with some hot (who am I kidding?) ICED tea. They are also just the right size for a snack. Which is one of the things I like about the 100-calorie snacks and these muffins–they aren’t a meal. So many snacks today are as big as a meal or hold as many calories as two meals. These are actual snacks that take the edge off your hunger until you can eat a healthy meal. The only complaint I have? I wish Little Debbie would use real sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup. But that’s hardly a Little Debbie issue, I wish everyone would stop using HFCS. It would just be completely awesome if Little Debbie led the way.
So! We love the muffins! We love Little Debbie! And we want to share the love with you! Three winners will receive their very own boxes of Little Debbie muffins to try. Your package will include all five flavors we tried: blueberry, cranberry & orange, chocolate chip, double chocolate, and lemon. Are you interested in winning? Leave me a comment telling me what your favorite Little Debbie snack is or your favorite Little Debbie snack memory. You won’t win if you don’t follow that rule. Comments like “I wanna win” or “Pick me” won’t be chosen.
Also, don’t enter more than once because duplicate entries will mean that you don’t get any entries. Just so you know and all. And no anonymous comments because, hello? How can I contact you if you’re anonymous? Just sayin’.
Finally, the rest of the rules:
- This giveaway is open to US residents only.
- You don’t have to be a blogger to play along, but you do have to have an e-mail address.
- I’ll pick a winner on Friday, June 12 and contact you that same day via e-mail. You have four days to respond. If I don’t hear from you by then, I’ll have to choose a new winner. Make sure you’re checking your spam folder!
I’ve told you my favorite snacks, but my favorite memory is running in from playing outside and knowing that my mom would always have Little Debbies waiting for us in the pantry. Seriously. There was never a time when I didn’t have access to a Nutty Bar, a Swiss Cake Roll, or a Star Crunch depending on what my fancy was. That’s a pretty good memory to have, don’t you think? Now let’s hear yours.

We our big fans of Little Debbies, too. My favorites are the good old-fashioned oatmeal creme pies. Thanks!
Ohhh I’m all about Oatmeal Creme Pies. I can remember when I was younger my granddad would take us to the local store and get one whenever we visit. Now every time I have one, it reminds me of him
I love the nutty bars
Definitely the Oatmeal Cream Pies. I haven’t had one in aaaages…
What a wonderful little treat. And, I would eat it around the edges in circles. My son does that now — I never showed him — but I told Hubby that it is an inherited trait!
My husband and I enjoy the oldie, but goody oatmeal cream pies…slightly frozen.
Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite Little Debbie snack is the Swiss Cake Roll and let me tell you why when I was younger I never could get them because they were bought strictly for father lunch. Due to the fact that was his favorite snack. So my mother bought the Nutty Bar and Oatmeal Cream (before they were as big as they come now) for my lunch. And I like them but always wanted that Swiss Cake Roll and never could get it well needless to say now I keep it in my house all the time and eat them sometimes a little to much. Although I do share with my little ones.
I have many childhood memories of Little Debbies. I still remember the first time I had Zebra Cakes. I was standing in my aunt’s kitchen and I saw the box. I guess I was around 10 years old and the name just struck me as funny but I loved em. I still can’t resist grabbing a box or two whenever I see them.
OOoh, I’m another Nutty Bar and Star Crunch fan. I remember grabbing them at the discount bread store when I’d go shopping with my grandma. She loved those same ones, so we’d grab a box to keep at her house to share each time I was over. Heck, who am I kidding… We still do! The trouble is though she lives clear across the country, and I don’t get to see her very often. I’m hoping to come up with the money to fly home to visit this Summer, and if I can then I feel a Little Debbie deja vu moment coming on.

ooooooo, I love me some Little Debbies!! We always have some in our cupboard, since my husband is an addict, too. I love the swiss rolls, he loves the oatmeal cream pies, and my son will eat anything that he finds! I haven’t tried the muffins yet, but I”m looking forward to it! Thanks for the giveaway!
We love the Zebra cakes in our house. It has got to the point have to buy a box for each person. We have not tried the muffins but it would be great to finally get to eat a little debbie for breakfast and not feel guilty.
Love little debbies. And love your blog. Thanks for the fun
My favorite Little Debbie Snack are the muffins – specifically the Bananna Nut Muffins.
My mother passed away 5 years ago. We used to say that if “you are what you eat,” she was a Little Debbie. Her favorite was fancy cakes, and she really loved the Christmas tree fancy cakes at Christmas. That’s my sentimental favorite.
My Little Debbie Snack Memory is recent… I have been getting them the last few Sundays for Sunday School. My 5 and 6 year olds love them.
Give me some oatmeal cream pies and swiss cake rolls and I’m happy camper. My brother and I spent many a summer day wrestling over the last oatmeal cream pie. I usually lost.
Star Crunches after getting home from spring swimming lessons. I don’t know why I remember that so well, but I do.
Little Debbie snacks are a a longstanding family favorite here in our home. I am partial to the Oatmeal creme pies & Nutty Bars, but I am loving their 100 calorie snacks. I love being able to indulge without the guilt. Has anyone had the pleasure of tasting the Cookies & Creme chocolate cake with cookie pieces (1oo cal snack)? It is absolutely divine!
I used to have tea parties with my Best Friend… we would split a Zebra Cake in half. I still crave thoseee!!!
My husband and son love SWISS ROLLS, I could flip for Oatmeal Cream Cookies!
Oatmeal Creme Pies. Loved them yesterday. Love them today. And, will love them forever. They taste so homeade. How does Little Debbie make them so gooey? Little Debbie Snacks were our only dessert at family outings, thanks to my aunt. She always supplied plenty of Little Debbie Snacks. Today, they seem to have that same old-fashioned, homemade flavor that takes me back to great memories of time spent with some of my favorite people, sharing my favorite dessert.
I love the oatmeal cream pies, but my favorite: Nutty Bar (refrigerated!) They can’t be beat (except maybe by the new muffins!)
I definitely love the nutty bars the best. They are so delicious.
My favorite Little Debbie snacks are the Oatmeal cookie sandwiches, yum! The Chocolate chip cookie sandwiches are really tasty too.
Devil Squares hands down! I have loved those since I was little and they are still a favorite guilty pleasure.
I love Little Debbie Nutty Bars!

My favorite Little Debbie Snack is Nutty Bars. I keep them in the freezer. My memory (from last week) is of my 4 year-old daughter trying to nab a whole box of Oatmeal Cream Pies and dash to her room.
OMG!! STAR CRUNCH RULES!! When I was in high school and we had an actual snack bar instead of HAVING to go through the stinky-lunch line, that was the diet of my friends and I nearly every single day. A Star Crunch and a Coke. I honestly don’t know how we didn’t all die of malnutrition.
My favorites have always been the Nutty Bars!
I have a thing for the Oatmeal Cream Pies. I can remember being a little girl and my grandpa always keeping a box of them around. He would sneak them to me before lunch, then grandma would fuss about the starving Ethiopian children who would have been happy to eat my grilled cheese. Even when I eat them today, I think of him and miss him!
nom nom
Nutty Bars are awesome. I eat the 100-cal ones now in a futile attempt to not gain any more weight!
My favorite was Star Crunch. I could eat the whole box. They were what my grandma always had at her house and I miss her every time I eat one
whole box. Also, in case it counts in your magic giveaway picking program, I’m pregnant and emotional. If I don’t win, I’ll think it’s because you hate babies and my grandma. Her name was Clara.
Why you hatin’ on Clara?
Yum! I remember visiting my grandparents in Tennessee when I was eight. He managed a hotel and gave us money for the vending machine. I was tempted by the Little Debbie Nutty Bars and they did not disappoint. I’ve been hooked on them ever since!
I gained a solid 40 pounds in the fourth grade from eating 2-3 boxes of Swiss Rolls and Nutty Bars. Eventually my parents figured out what was going on – my grandmother, my after-school caregiver, catered to my every whim – and cut me off. Actually, they didn’t just cut me off. They put me on a vegetarian diet and made me GO OUTSIDE. It was fresh hell on a silver platter.
Oatmeal cream pies are my FAVE!
I am a fudge brownie gal!!
Oh these would so make my day today.
The depression has set in despite the meds I take & Little Deb would help to make it all better :>)
My favorite Little Debbies… no way.. I love most of them.. but my favs if you MADE me pick: Swiss Cake rolls, Star Crunch or OAtmeal pies! It just makes me nostalgic to taste any of them.
I love the holiday themed cakes. All of them! The christmas tree cakes, the easter brownies, the red, white and blue cakes. They always taste better than the regular cakes they have all year round.
I was a Hostess girl when I grew up, but my dear hubby has always loved the Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies! He gets really happy when we have them in the house! Anna Marie ampenix@gmail.com
My favorite are the Fudge Rounds. Jumbo Fudge Rounds are even better. I could eat a whole box in a sitting…not saying I have, but I could! =) Thanks for the chance!
I remember the oatmeal cream pies from high school. I would get one from the snack machine and watch soaps in the lounge at lunchtime.
I can’t buy Swiss Cake Rolls. They wreak havoc on my thighs.
But I do buy them. Oh yes I do.
My favorite Little Debbie is Swiss cake Rolls. I can eat a whole box before I know it.
