So, so true! I will NEVER get over the fact that a huge, heavy piece of metal is actually flying. How do they DO that??
And, technology? Wasted on kids who know NO DIFFERENT.
I think technology IS all it’s cracked up to be but I don’t know about the ungrateful beneficiaries of such. It’s just like the guy said, people complain if there is one small glitch…one tiny delay.
The people want what is due them by golly!
Wow! Just read the other comments and have to add that “Mrs. Who” really hit the nail on the head – our kids know no different! And if we try to tell them how it “used to be,” we start sounding like our grandparents. Which, now that I think about it, may not be a bad thing. At all!
That is sooooo true and I’m sure those extra os really make you understand how much I think this is true. I am a grandparent and don’t care if I sound like it. Flying is a miracle and there are so many other miracles, too. Cars for instance and this laptop upon which I’m typing this foolishness.
SO true! As much as I get scared about the economy I do think a return to simplier times is just what we need.
I know I sound very 1950′s but the benefit of having one parent at home makes such a huge difference (in a ‘it takes a village kind of way’) and so many people just can’t afford it, us included but we’re making the best of it.
Technology has been both a blessing and a curse IMHO. We’re so connected but that’s not always a good thing (now I need to go clear more things from my reader! LOL!).

Oh, thank you for posting this! It cracked me up. But it’s so true. Everyone needs to hear this!

Loved this! I was grumpy the other day because Panera’s WiFi was down. Guilty!
