I early voted and it took me about 5 minutes. But Hubs voted tonight and it took him about 2 minutes. I couldn’t believe it. He always had the best luck!

I was soooo lucky and didn’t have to wait at all. I walked right in and voted. I am so happy, I was ready to wait hours with a squirmy 19 month old.

Here in my little town in central Nebraska things went very quickly! Not many new propositions and I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes! I’m excited to see how things turn out tonight! Not matter what the outcome turns out to be, this will be a historic, exciting night in American politics!!! Thank God we have the freedom to choose!

Do I depress you and say that my Hubby and I walked in and right to the table? We got our ballots, sat down, colored in ovals, front and back side, and were on our way in less than 10 mins. But, we, too, had the oldest villagers at our table! Bless their hearts, but I’m really glad we didn’t have to wait in a line to get to them!

i early~voted to avoid long lines. i have 2 little one and my youngest, billy, who will be 2 in january, doesn’t sit patiently in the stroller so my husband and i took turns sitting in the car while the other one went in to vote. i could just see it if i waited till today to vote and had to wait in line while he was screaming and have all the people there in line stare at me wondering why i can’t keep my kid quiet. too much stress for me.

Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. And not bad waiting since I saw a friend in line (remember Jack P.??) who I haven’t seen in a year. Then my neighbor with her new baby showed up so I cooed with him while she did her civic duty.
Then the priest of the church where we were voting meandered through the crowd and someone asked him “do ya have this many lined up for church on Sunday?” He laughed and said “If there’s about 700 in line here, then yes.”
Nah, he didn’t say that…but I guarantee ya he was thinking it.
