Giveaway: Spiffy Spoonz Serving Tile and Spreader

by Chilihead on October 30, 2008

in giveaways

This giveaway is closed.

Congratulations to Tracy.

Another day where I’d like to keep the prize for myself, but I already said I’d give it to whoever wins on Friday. Stupid ethics.

Without further ado, I offer you a very fashionable serving tile (12 inches by 12 inches, I believe) and coordinating beaded spreader. These tiles come in all sorts of colors and patterns at Spiffy Spoonz, but I fell in love with the cheetah print and Chilihead, Jr. gave it her stamp of approval as well. How could I go against an endorsement like that? It’s gorgeous. You’ll love it.

In case you missed it yesterday, here is my gushing spiel on Spiffy Spoonz. Seriously, y’all. I love this company.

Holly Loyd is my personal friend and the genius behind Spiffy Spoonz. She hand-beads each piece and even does custom orders. If you don’t win here, please
consider buying something from her site for yourself or a teacher or a
secretary or as a stocking stuffer or whatever. I’m sure you’ll find a
reason!

Are you interested in winning? Leave me a comment telling me what your favorite get together is. Is it hosting book club? A family Thanksgiving? An impromptu coffee? Tell me. That’s it. Easy peasy. You won’t win if you don’t follow that rule. Comments like "I wanna win" or "Pick me" won’t be chosen.

Also, don’t enter more than once because duplicate entries will mean that you don’t get any
entries. Just so you know and all. And no anonymous comments because,
hello? How can I contact you if you’re anonymous? Just sayin’.

Finally, the rest of the rules:

  • This giveaway is open to US residents only because I’m nothing if not cheap.
  • You don’t have to be a blogger to play along, but you do have to have an e-mail address.
  • I’ll pick a winner on Friday, October 31 (or Saturday, November 1) and contact you that same day via
e-mail. You have four days to respond. If I don’t hear from you by
then, I’ll have to choose a new winner. Make sure you’re checking your
    spam folder.

Don’t forget to check out the other giveaways at the Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival!

My favorite type of get together is to have friends over for a dinner party. I love to cook and entertain, thus a perfect fit! I just stumbled upon you by way of The Peanut Patch. Thanks for the opportunity.

My favorite get together is meeting up with my college friends for a dinner or drinks. I used to live in New Orleans while I attended the University of New Orleans, but I moved to Austin, Texas for a job and my boyfriend. So its nice to go back and catch up with my old friends who were a big part of my life!

15 Kathy October 30, 2008 at 5:10 pm

I work with a great group of people at a Major airport. On Saturdays we take turn bringing a item in to share. It’s just a few minutes to bond after a very busy week, we take a few minutes to catch up on the happenings of the week both at work and in our own lives. It’s just an informal 15 to 30 minutes but such a fun time to regroup.
I just love the Spiffy Spoonz ! Thanks!

My favorite get-together is `Thanksgiving`. That is the only time of year I get to see my family (parents, siblings, niece, nephews). We won’t be able to see them this year, because we are saving money to see them April 2009 for my parents 60th anniv.
Thanks,
Michelle

i love christmas time at my parents…about the only time me and my 4 siblings are all together.

23 AmyAileen October 30, 2008 at 6:54 pm

I would have to say that one of my favorite gatherings is when we get together with a group of friends (8 of us total) and then we burn the previous year’s Christmas tree. Now, we don’t do this in the early spring, we wait until end of summer, early fall (like now) and then we burn it. The flames tend to shoot up about 10 feet or so into the sky. It’s a sight to behold and it’s a great time. :)

24 Stacy S October 30, 2008 at 7:07 pm

It would have to be Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win.

48 Sharla October 30, 2008 at 10:45 pm

I have three favorite get togethers that are my favorite for different reasons. My girls game night (no kids, laughing our heads off), a quiet night at home with my little family(daily bliss), and getting together with my Mom and Dad, bros and sis to sing. (We just sit around and sing and I love it!)

49 rebecca October 30, 2008 at 11:20 pm

My favourit is one that you mentioned, impropmtu. I can make a date with a friend and dread going because of the commitment, other things to do. Whereas, a quick phone call and meet up and we’re lost in conversation all day.

50 cheryl c. October 30, 2008 at 11:57 pm
