Sunday YouTube: Recycling

I am a fan of Penn & Teller. I think Penn is a gas-bag who loves himself dearly, but their politics and in-your-face ideas are closely aligned with my own. I’ve watched Bullshit!, their HBO series, via Netflix and I love it. It’s not for the faint of heart, children, or anyone with an aversion to swearing. But, oh man, is it funny. Here they take on recycling and the lengths Greenies are willing to go. Inflammatory? You betcha.

I did not watch these videos (kids are next to me), BUT, I have watched Bullshit! and LOVED it. Seriously, it’s brilliant, I little harsh, but hilarious. Great show.

In my area we have voluntary recycling, but you have to PAY $4 a month to rent the canister and get it picked up! : )
Oh, H@#$ NO!

Oh now. Words cannot express just how much I love Penn and Teller. Bullshit is highly entertaining and quite informative at the same time. It’s one of the few shows that Hubs and I like to watch together (House is another we love, but I digress).
I didn’t get to watch the video above (2 yo on my lap), but I guarantee it was spot on hilarious.
If you like Bullshit, have you considered Netflixing “The Aristocrats?” Yes, it’s obscenely vulgar, but it’s outrageously hilarious.

This was great! I love Penn & Teller, and I like their show as well.
It’s amazing that it actually costs more to recycle then just throwing it away.

Wow, thanks for posting this! I’d forward this to my green parents if they wouldn’t be so offended by the language. Off to search articles to forward on. Thanks again!
