- Germ-Free Baby Under Glass via BoingBoing (they’re on a roll, what can I say?). It’s a baby, not a fossil. My favorite quote: "It is partially sound-proof-he can bellow without straining the family nerves."

- Genealogy Relationship Chart via About.com. I think one of my readers pointed me to this, but I can’t remember who. I had the link and I love it. Now I know what to call my cousin’s two boys: first cousins once removed and they are second cousins to my kids.

Love the relationship chart! My mom’s family is so large and every time we get together there is at least one small discussion on exactly what our relationship is to each other; second cousin vs cousin once removed, etc. Now I can put an end to the prattle and pull up this site.
I saw that baby under glass thing and thought “oh my gosh, look at all these comments, they actually think this is for real” it didn’t seem possible, even for 1947, that they would seriously do that.
