  • Kimya Dawson’s children’s album, Alphabutt via BoingBoing. Anyone else LOVE the Juno soundtrack? I’m betting you’ll love this CD too if you have kids. Scattalogical humor at its finest.
  • Time-Warp Wives via MailOnline. OK, I’ll admit that I luh-huv the idea of the 30s and 50s. Maybe even the 20s. But I know it’s my own Romanticized version of those times and it’s not real. It wasn’t necessarily all Charleston and Flappers, malt shops and poodle skirts, or even Our Gang kids. Now if these women were doing it for fashion reasons, I’d be all over it. (Although, I really wanna know: Does that red-head have a bald spot? WHAT IS WITH THE FLOWERS?)

AWESOME links, Chilihead. I love the retro gals, but I was laughing b/c they must ALL have Internet to buy/find their vintage items. Good for them! Now, I’m off to stand at the new bus stop that appeared by my door.

That refrigerator is frickin cool! The vintage ladies? I find them a little odd. I, too, love the idea of those decades but to actually live like that? No thanks. And WHAT is with the flower on that lady’s head?

Those ladies are weird. How all consuming must it be to always be on guard to live, eat and breathe another era?
If I commit to doing that though, I could get a whole new wardrobe, new decor and a makeover. Hmmm… I’m wondering if they may not be smarter than I first assumed.
Great roundup as usual chilihead!
