WFMW: Etsy Pounce

I love me some Etsy. I could browse for hours and drool over all the cute crafty things people make and sell. Then I become overwhelmed and walk away with a glazed look.

So! Much! Cuteness!

Can’t! Concentrate! or Make! Decision!

That is, until I discovered Etsy Pounce. Pounce is a feature that shows you what has just sold or who is waiting for their first purchase. You can see what others have bought and see what that same shop offers.

I have found it’s less overwhelming to shop Etsy this way. I also have found some interesting things I may not have discovered otherwise.

Etsy Pounce. That’s what’s working for me this week.

You know the drill. Head back to Shannon’s dryer for more WFMW!

I totally agree! I LOVE etsy, both buying and selling. But it can be hugely overwhelming! Pounce is great and I also love treasuries! :)

I love Esty as well, but it can be hard to get through without going into a sugar type shock. Thanks for the tip!

I love Etsy and actually sell on Etsy, but I didn’t know about this feature. Cool, and thanks!

Me too! During my downtime at work I browse Etsy but in the beginning it was just too overwhelming all the categories, the 4000+ shops in just one category. Pounce has made it so much easier and more fun. I personally like to pounce the shops where they are waiting for their first sale. There are so many creative people out there and I might just stumble upon the next hottest item ever.

Very cool – Etsy is amazing – I keep thinking I’m going to open an Etsy shop. Then I realize I have to make something cool to go into it and the dream is over. The end.

Have you seen the odd/weird things people make and sell on Etsy? I once found fallopian tube earrings and a knitted dissected frog. Practical for Biology class maybe?

I have just recently discovered Etsy, thankfully I’ve only purchased from half of the shops that I’ve found LOL
The pounce feature sounds fun!
Have A Great Day!!
