Here is my prize for today: TOAST 8
I have it on my Mac, but I haven’t been able to use it because I dropped my Mac and bent the opening to the CD player thingy. I hear great things about TOAST 8, though. And if I could use mine, I’m absolutely certain the sun would shine brighter, birds would sing more sweetly, and Matt Damon would come clean my house.
What is TOAST 8? It software for the Mac that let you (according to Amazon.com–where I copied the following from)
- copy your audio CDs, movies and DVDs
- take your favorite TV shows to go, with easy TiVoToGo transfers
- Blu-ray Disc Support: Burn up to 50 GB – 12,500 music tracks, or 50,000 photos, or 4 hours of raw HD video
- restore and recover files from scratched or damaged discs while copying
- create DJ-style audio CDs with the same pro-quality audio features previously found in Roxio Jam

Oh that would be awesome we have been looking for somthing like that for our Mac!
I would love the Toast 8. I have a Mac but have never heard of this. I would use it to make CDs for my family. I would also love to create a family geneology with pictures and information, then make copies to give to my children. Wouldn’t it be fun to see what great great grandma looked like? Or to find out that one of our relatives was a one armed teacher. Now I need to do some research to find out how he lost his arm.

We do not have Toast 8 yet for our Mac and it would be fabulous for our family – to be able to copy a tv show on disc for long car rides would be a lifesaver for mama! This is a wonderful giveaway, please enter us! Have a great day!
I would really love to have this on my Mac. On a student budget, it’s so hard trying to find decent apps to burn data or dvds on discs and to have just ONE application that would let me do this would be awesome.

Hi! We have 2 Macs! I’d love this for my hubbie!
My son is getting a mac for HS graduation. He’s going to college for music therapy. A marraige of his love of music and his love of helping people. This would be an awesome prize for him! Thanks for including me in your drawing!

I have a Mac laptop and love music, so Toast 8 intrigues me. This is the first time I’ve heard of it.
I am writing this comment on my first Mac and this software would be a great addition…As a high school librarian I am always being asked to fix the impossible and I might just be able to do that with Toast8!

Oh, my sonjust bought a Mac and loves it. As soon as we get the money to replace mine he’s determined to switch me to mac. I would love to win this for him. He’s studying movie animation so it’s right up his techno alley.
