I love to read. Two of my all-time favorite books are Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice and Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre.
Today you have a chance to win both books. If you haven’t read them, you will love them. I have yet to find anyone who doesn’t simply adore either of these books. If you are that person, please don’t tell me. I don’t want to know. It will ruin my faith in humankind.

"I want this!" because I’d rather read about how you love Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters, but any comment counts.

Oh, I LOVE Jane Austen. I love her books, and even some of the movies about the books (well, I say that, but there was that Northanger Abbey movie that was pretty horrible.)

Jane Eyre has always been a favorite of mine. Now with grandchildren old enough to appreciate the Jane Austen books I would love to win for them.

What a tw0-fer!! Two of my favorite books!! Since I already have both of them, if I win, I will have a book giveaway for my AP English Senior students next fall! P.S. are you planning to give away Persuasion some time in the future? Because that is my very favorite Jane Austen book, and I lent my copy, and sadly, the borrower does not have any intention of giving it back.

Yes, believe it or not, I haven’t read these books. I have read thousands of books in my life (if I don’t have 6 or 8 books going I feel lost) but somehow I missed these!
I haven’t read either of these, but am working my way through classics interspersed with all of the other must-reads that I find. One of my best friends loves Bronte and it’s high time I read her! I am a book whore and will do (almost) anything for a good book.

I’ve never read either of these books. I’d love to! I have seen Pride and Prejudice (two versions) and it seems a delightful story. I love to read the “real” story that has been condensed down into a movie.

Whenever I’m stressed about ANYTHING, I will read Pride & Prejudice. And if my husband goes away for a day, a week or even a month, I will watch the DVD each night. My favorite part is when Elizabeth is crying over the news that Lydia left her party in Brighton and Mr. Darcy walks into the room…makes your heart melt!!!

These are two classics that I hate to admit I’ve never gotten around to reading! I’m sure, as you say, that I would love them. My mother- and sister-in-law both insist that I would, like you do! I’m excited to enter this contest, and hope I win! I’m on a big reading kick right now (well, in between entering Bloggy Giveaway contests, that is…).
