Have I ever mentioned that I love New Orleans? I do. It’s not the drinking or the debauchery, though there is that if you are looking for it. I love the architecture and the history.

That planter is such a “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” picture…

Nawlins’ should pay you. Perhaps I should have a word with them. Best antique shops I’ve ever been in are New Orleans.

Beautiful pictures! It almost looks like Disney World (does it tell you how cheesy I am that I think that’s a compliment?)

It looks gorgeous. I’ve never been. Hubs went down last spring to help with the rebuilding. He evidently got an eye full one night when they went to the French Quarter.

Maybe you have maybe you haven’t, I can’t quite recall. My eldest daughter has visited, but it’s still on our list.
Cheers

That’s how I feel about Charleston, SC. I could walk around for hours with my camera and be in Heaven.

Ah, another thing we have in common. I LOVE New Orleans, too. Cafe du Monde is calling my name. … Hey, just wanted to say too, that I finally read the book you recommended long ago–The Thirteenth Tale. I’ll have to try out some of your other recommendations. Thanks!
