Sewing On A Button

Husband asked me to sew a button on his shorts a few weeks ago. I hate hand sewing anything. Even a button. I have been known to show up at Shannon’s door with tea for her while also conveniently toting a bag of things that need "just a little" hand sewing.

Unfortunately, Shannon was sleeping out under the stars when I needed her this time, so I had to resort to (gasp!) doing it myself.

Except Husband didn’t know where the button was. Or any button for that matter.

So I picked one out for him. Think he’ll like it?

If he complains tell him that he can sew his own buttons from now on.

I think he’ll love it greatly. How could he not?

If I didn’t know better, I’d think you were trying to “teach” him how to sew a button himself.
BTW, WHAT did he say???

Very funny! I bet he thinks twice about asking again! Good move.

I covet the button. I’d snap off buttons just to use ones with little flapper faces.

You did NOT! Did you?

Okay, you win.
It ranks right up there with putting all his clean underwear in the freezer and sewing ruffles on the tops of his socks. I’ll have to look for some of those buttons next time I am out. Ornery has a couple of shirts missing buttons…

So … did you really use that button? Because, if anything, he’ll think of you each and every time he wears those pants!

PAAAA HA HA HA!!!!!! I hope you really sewed that one on… Too funny!

This is the greatest thing! I think I might borrow your idea!
