I love having an iPod nano. Have I mentioned that before? Have I also mentioned I love books? Thought so. Here’s the beauty of those two loves: I can download a book and listen to it while cleaning, knitting, sewing, or whatever else I need to be doing. Two great tastes that taste great together.
Here’s where my WFMW tip comes in. What’s better than downloading books to listen to on my nano? Downloading FREE classic audio books to listen to on my nano.
Oh you heard me right. Free classic audio books. They are available in MP3 form (works with your Windows media player) or M4B for your iPod. The two forms allow you the flexibility to either listen to the books on your computer (via Windows media or iTunes) or download them to your iPod. Love that.
It’s true that sitting down with a good book is my number one love of things to do in my spare time. However, sometimes I just can’t do that. Problem solved.

i’m totally bookmarking this now! thanks!
I bookmarked this, too. Great resource!
You can also check with your local library website. I can download MP3s of various books through them also.

So THAT’S what I can do with this new IPod, besides the music I mean… Brilliant and I’m all over it, but why oh why didn’t I have this before I started on “Wings of the Dove”…
I got a nano for Mother’s Day. I guess it would be better to use it to expand my mind with the classics rather than filling it with all this rock n roll hooey!
Who am I kidding?! Tee hee!
