Oh. My. Word. Matt Damon move over. Seriously. Get out of my closet.
Last week I saw Casino Royale. I’ve never been a James Bond fan. Everyone said, "It doesn’t matter. This is the one you should see. You’ll love the James Bond franchise after this one."
Well, they were partially right. I’m still not a fan of the 007 movies. However, I’m now a HUGE fan of Daniel Craig. He’s exactly the right mix of totally hot and completely hot for me.
I will be watching him paint his living room and brush his teeth just as soon as that unauthorized DVD is released to the public.
In other news, Leonardo DiCaprio has finally grown up and started to act. I’ve been listening to the hype since Titanic and waiting for it to happen in reality. I’ll grant that he was pretty good in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, but since then I haven’t seen much to impress me. Gangs of New York was not great, The Aviator was only interesting because of the subject matter–I didn’t completely buy him as Howard Hughes, but I wanted to hear the story.
That’s all changed. Little Leo’s all grown up as Danny Archer in Blood Diamond. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. I was blown away. (However, I’m not in the ‘Leo-is-hot’ camp. He looks a little like Eddie Munster to me.)
And did I mention you should buy Casino Royale just for the eye candy? Because Daniel Craig does not look like Eddie Munster. Oh my word, ladies. Just look at him. I don’t know if I’ll get anything at all done today.

Oh, I so agree on both counts! Daniel Craig—- HOT—- Let me know about the teeth brushing video, I’m interested. DiCaprio has definitely grown into a fine actor, (although I do not find him hot) loved both of those movies. Youur blog always provides a laugh and a smile, thanks.

I don’t usually comment on the “hotness” of men, but even my husband thinks he’s hot after seeing “casino royale”…so that gives me permission to rave about his heat factor. We must have watched that movie 5 times when we rented it. He’s got three other movies out I plan on renting too!
Blood Diamond is a wonderful movie in spite of the fact that Leo is in it. I have never understood the hype over him either!
I’m a big fan of the right mixture of “hot and totally hot” men. And while I usually don’t like blondes, he works it.

and was plum worn out after it was over. There was NO redemption in the end, and when a movie like that wins the Oscar…well, it makes me realize I am WAAAYYY out of the Hollywood loop…as if I were ever “in” lol.

Anyhoo, I’ve wanted to see “Blood Diamond” and almost chose it that night instead of “The Departed”…now I wish I had of, thanks to your little posty-poo.

Holy COW you’re right. The Boyfriend and I just watched Casino Royale a couple of days ago. The scene with him coming out of the ocean? OH. MY. LORD. I think I drooled a little.
Good call. He was delicious in this. I think I’ll buy myself…I mean…The Boyfriend a copy of this DVD for myself…I mean…for him because I know he likes James Bond.

So I’m going to have to rent that one now… I’m usually a “It’s a Bond movie? Oh then no thanks” kind of gal because I’ve not been impressed by any of them. I may see it, but only because it is a good flick.
And I’m sorry, I just can’t get Leo’s well-earned name out of my head to give him another chance: Leo DiCrappio. And he does nothing for me. And why should he when I’m already married to the hottest/most romantic/best-in-bed man on earth. At least he is to me, and that’s all that matters in the whole scheme of things. And I’ll take THAT over eye candy anyday!

Okay, if you’re now a Daniel Craig fan you must see Layer Cake. Just watched it a few nights ago and found myself marveling on my own ability to look past those ears and see total hotness.
Also, Blood Diamond WAS a terrific example that Leo is finally an actor. I think he did a great job in The Departed as well. I also think he’s growing into his reputation as a pin-up. Like Daniel Craig there is something inherently suave and handsome in a well seasoned actor.
He’s scrumptious.

I first saw Daniel Craig in “Enduring Love,” where he plays a super-wimpy professor who is being stalked. I can’t believe he’s the same guy in your photo. He’s also going to be in “His Dark Materials,” my number one most anticipated film of the year.
