Thank you to everyone who contacted me about cookies! Wild Thing and I are in your debt. However, I’ve been told I’m not supposed to sell cookies via the Internet. I will still honor the requests I’ve received and I will bill those people when I receive the cookies (about 2/27-3/1). I do need to close the comments to this post. Thanks for your support. (Remind anyone of a 1980s wine cooler commercial?)
This is absolutely shameless, I know. I am resorting to using my blog for a sales pitch. Please accept my apologies and feel free to move on to another blog without responding–I will completely and utterly
understand. However, if you have pity for me and my daughter, read on.
Especially if you are in the Tulsa area (if you aren’t then you probably don’t wanna buy anything from use because then I’ll have to send it and god only knows how much that’ll cost!). If you are out of town, we are still happy to sell to you, but I’ll need to invoice you via PayPal before we send you the cookies. (Thanks to GiBee for that fabulous idea!)

OMG! I didn’t know it was so soon! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I would LOVE to order some from WT (I don’t know any Brownies around here!). I’ll take 1 box of Cafe Cookies (those sound YUM!), 1 box of Thin Mints and 1 box of Samoas!
I’ll come back to town and pick them up when they come in.
*dancin* I CAN’T WAIT!
(am I a tad too excited about this? yikes.)
Once a year, when the neighbor girls come to our door, I hear my husband give a whoop of jubilation and a shout:”Veronica! It’s that time of year again!”
I’m guessing this is going to sell more cookies than you bargained for.
Fun prizes for Wild Thing.
I’ll take 4 boxes of Trefoils. Let me know how much and I’ll Paypal you.
I did my time as Cookie Mom more than once. A couple of things to try, this year maybe and definintly next.. Get your oil changed – when Em was a girl scout I carried cases of cookies everywhere. Our troop took presales and ordered extra to sell outside stores. I would “check them out” so we were not obligated to purchase what we did not sell. We made a killing at the dealership walking through the sales floor waiting for the service to be done. Also we “adopted” the Ronald McDonald House or a local homeless shelter. Many people are on a diet or have health issues but will be willing to buy a box or two to donate. Good Luck!!!!
I sold GS cookies up until my Sr. year of high school! My locker was quite popular for a couple of weeks in February, lol. This was back when you had to actually schlep the boxes door to door — it was considered cheating to have your mom take orders at work. How times have changed, I’d never let my girls near a stranger’s doorstep — even in pairs!!
I remember my days of selling these too! Soon there will be a girl scout at every Wal mart entrance!
You are killing my diet!
But jeez….I have not had any GS cookies in like, forever!! And, I was a little Brownie about a hunnert years ago.
I want to order some, so please, let me know the total with shipping. I want to send a box to my daughter in college as well. Now there’s an idea…promote them as surprise Care Boxes for college kids!
This is what I want:
2 Thin Mints (1 box will go to Atlanta for the Kidlet!)
1 Trefoils
1 Cafe Cookies
and….
1 Sugar Free Brownie to make myself feel less guilty.
(I WILL share with the Feller…promise I won’t pig out on all of these by myself….well, maybe.):-)
I want thin mints! Lots and lots of thin mints!
Sadly, I live in another country. Too bad for me.
I probably would have taken you up on this offer, as I absolutely LOVE thin mints, but my little cousin is selling and had to resort to calling everyone she knew due to the ice storm! I’m in your state!
If we weren’t swimming in Brownies and Girl Scouts in our area, I would DEFINITELY take you up on this offer!!!!
By the way, I do enjoy your blog!! I found you through Everyday Momma.

i’m emailing you privately because no way am i publicly placing an order for all the world to see becasue it’s gonna be big!
I’m with Holy Mama on the email part. I don’t think anyone needs to know how many GS cookies I must have to make it through the rest of the winter.
I’m co-leader of Pie Girl’s Brownie troop. This is their first year selling cookies, too. Interesting…you have several different cookies than we do here in NV! Good luck with your sales!
What a great idea. I’ll email you my order as well. We have NO Girl Scouts up here (that I know of) and I had to resort to ferreting out a scout from a lady at church. Her husband works with someone who is selling. If I had seen your post yesterday, I would have placed all my orders through you! But I’ll still order some to help out Wild Thing. Cause, you know, eating GS Cookies is SUCH a sacrifice for pregnant me.
OMG, you have to post how many boxes you’ve shamelessly sold. Power to ya!
I wish I was closer to ya…I haven’t seen any girl scouts selling cookies around here lately. Did you know that in Lexington, KY they don’t call the cookies, “Trefoils” or “Samoas”, etc. They have silly generic names like Shortbread Cookies and Caramel Delights. What is that??? Oh I am going to have to blog about this insanity! Good luck with the cooking seling!
I don’t blame you one bit for doing it this way. Everyone loves Girl Scout cookies and this is a great way to share the love! We get excited when all the little girls in our neighborhood start showing up at the door in their cute little uniforms.
