My wonderful friend Jules at Everyday Mommy tagged me for this meme. I tag Christine, Green3, Peach, Shalee, and Jeana (because you can never be tagged for too many memes! LOL). Of course, anyone can play! Grab the meme and get to it!
1. Favorite memory of your mother? I remember snuggling with my mom. She was always so soft and cuddly. If I couldn’t sleep my parents never berated me. Instead, they let me watch TV with my mom. I would curl up with her on the sofa and lay my head on her. I didn’t want to have to go back to bed so I would tell her that I was just resting my eyes and I would fall asleep on her.
2. Favorite memory of your father? There are so many! I’ve always loved to just hang out with my dad. We can talk and laugh about anything. Here’s just one memory: As I’ve said before, I dated a lot of losers in high school (testing boundaries, blah, blah, etc.). My dad paced the floor every time I went out, I think. Once I had a date that came to pick me up for a dance and he was wearing boots with chains on them. My dad wanted to drive to the dance and "rescue" me from such an idiot because he was just sure I only accepted the invitation under duress.
3. Favorite memory of your sibling(s)? My brother and I are very close now, but in high school we didn’t run in the same crowds and we had a lot of different interests. Every Friday night, though, we would both come in at 11pm, order a pizza, and talk about our night out. We’d watch Friday the 13th: The Television Series and Tales from the Dark Side.
My brother has always been my champion too. I can’t count how many times I found out (after the fact) that he’d "talked" to a date or ex-boyfriend about how I’d been treated. He may be my little brother, but he’s certainly stood up for me. Thanks, T.
4. What one skill would you like to wake up tomorrow and be able to do (though you’d never learned it)? Oh! Just one skill? Hmmm. I think right now I’d like to be able speak about seven different languages if I could just wake up and know them (Spanish, French, Arabic, Dutch, something from Africa, Japanese, Italian). I think if I could know those languages I would feel so much more comfortable traveling. And how much fun to mess with your friends! LOL
5. Which one of your dreams has come true? I’m married to my soul mate. He knows me inside and out and loves me like no one else. He understands every part of me. We have a beautiful life.

I promise I’ll get to this soon. So much to blog . . . so little time.
Loved reading yours, and I share in a couple of them. You’ll have to wait and see . . .
Beautiful, my Friend. I’m so glad that you posted this. Beautiful.
Hey! I just got tagged. I’ll play, but this will be a toughie for me.
And the language skills is an excellent idea! That would be so much fun to mess with other people or to relate to them – whatever your reason.
Hi! Thanks for your comments. I updated my post to reflect your input and that of the other commenters. I was trying to touch on that there at the end, but I realize I didn’t flesh it out at all. Excellent point, and really the way I should have concluded this whole series of school posts. Since I promised no more school posts, I just did an update instead of a final post.
