Go See This Movie

Last week I went to see Little Miss Sunshine with a good friend of mine. We had both heard the buzz that it was well-received at Sundance, we both love Greg Kinear and the guy from The Office/The 40-Year-Old Virgin (apparently not enough for me to know his name, though), and we were both ready for a few hours out.

My friends, you really need to see this movie. It is funny, it is smart. I was literally laughing until tears streamed down my face.

After the movie we discussed the timeliness of it all. The premise is that a family is traveling from New Mexico to California so their daughter can compete in the Little Miss Sunshine pageant. It is full of mishaps and disappointments, but the ending is the real deal. If you go see this movie, let me know! I’d love to know what you think about the pageant.  ;)

(I’d discuss more, but it hasn’t been out long and I don’t want to spoil it.)

I overheard you guys talking about this yesterday (I’m a little fly on the wall when I’m working!)
I CAN’T WAIT to see it. I love the entire cast. Amazing.
I might go check it out this week!

I am dying to see this movie and I’m so glad to hear that you loved it. Steve Carrell is like Will Farrell to me…I look at him and laugh!
